Privacy policy
Last updated 16 September 2026
This policy describes how Selino (selino.dk) processes personal data. We follow the GDPR and the Danish Data Protection Act.
1. Data controller
Selino, CVR 46767969, 6270 Tønder, Denmark. E-mail: kontakt@selino.dk.
2. What we process
- The contact form: name, email and — if you fill them in — phone and company name, plus the subject you selected and your message. The sole purpose is to be able to reply to you. Basis: legitimate interest in answering an enquiry, GDPR art. 6(1)(f), and where a quote is involved: steps prior to entering a contract, art. 6(1)(b). We delete the enquiry no later than 12 months after the matter is closed.
- Server logs: IP address, timestamp and which page was requested. Ordinary operational logging for security and troubleshooting. Deleted after 30 days. Basis: legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f).
- Emails you send us: kept in our mailbox until the matter is closed and there is no longer a reason to keep them.
3. What we don't do
We use no analytics tools, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. There is no Facebook pixel, no Google Analytics and no embedded Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site are served from our own server precisely so your IP address isn't passed on. We never sell or rent data.
4. Who we share with
The site runs on our own servers in the EU. Mail is sent through one.com (Denmark) under a data processing agreement. Beyond that we share data with no one. If you are a customer, we may need to share necessary information with a subcontractor — only by agreement with you.
5. Retention
- Enquiries: deleted no later than 12 months after the matter is closed.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Accounting records for customers: 5 years plus the current year, as required by Danish bookkeeping law.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Write to kontakt@selino.dk and we will respond within one month.
If you disagree with how we process your data, you may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby — datatilsynet.dk.
7. Cookies
We use no cookies for statistics or marketing. See the cookie policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. We notify existing customers of material changes by email.
