Cookie policy

Short version: selino.dk sets no cookies. Which is why you don't get a cookie banner asking for consent to anything.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website puts in your browser so it can recognise you again. Most sites use them for statistics and advertising. Under EU rules you must consent to every cookie that isn't strictly necessary.

What we use

• No statistics or analytics cookies. We don't run Google Analytics or anything like it.
• No marketing or advertising cookies. No Facebook pixel, no retargeting.
• No third-party content that could set cookies: no embedded videos, maps or external fonts.
• One technical cookie, and only if you click the language switcher yourself: selino_sprog remembers whether you want Danish or English. It contains two letters and nothing else, and it is exempt from the consent requirement because it only delivers what you asked for.

What we do instead

Typefaces are served from our own server. The contact form sends straight to our own mailbox. Our web server writes an ordinary operational log with IP address and timestamp, deleted after 30 days — that is not a cookie, and it is used neither for statistics about you nor for marketing.

Why

Because we build sites for other people and think this is the right way to do it. A website doesn't need to know who you are in order to show you what we do.
